Backrooms: Insane is a single-player horror experience designed to make you feel trapped, watched, and completely alone. You are not a soldier. You are not a hero. You are simply yourself, recording what may be the last footage anyone ever finds.

But exploration is never safe for long.

A timer controls when you can search and when you must survive. During the safe phase, you can explore, collect keys, and solve puzzles. When the entity becomes active, your objective changes completely: stop searching, stay quiet, hide, or run.
